A fast and easy recipe!

Another easy and few ingredient recipe! The other day I wanted to share a treat with my little Great Grand daughter, but her Mother is gluten free so its always a challenge! I was looking through my Methodist church cook book and I found a three ingredient cookie recipe submitted by Kathy Kloeckner not using flour, I had noticed that recipe before but just didn’t think it could possibly work but it did. It makes about 24 cookies so not so many which I also liked I am thinking I may try  adding milk chocolate chips next time, then they would taste like Reeces peanut butter cups. If you like peanut butter you will like these!!

Peanut butter cookies

1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla

Blend sugar and peanut butter, add egg and vanilla. Roll into balls and roll in sugar. Bake 9 minutes at 350 degrees.

Trust me these will be a hit!  Have a great day and keep safe!!

My mom wants me to cook something for out upcoming family gathering, and I think I just found what I needed. Most of my cousins are on a diet, I do not know why it becomes a trend in our family. Then my grandparents do not eat much carbs already. Is that really a thing for the oldies? Anyway, I think this really is perfect for our family reunion next week. I think I will just change some of the ingredients just like the asparagus. Also, it will cost me a lot of money if I will cook such serving, so maybe I would just reduce the size of each serving. I am also glad to see that you also offer other dishes which I think I can also cook for them.

It's always a dream of mine to be in Italy one day. There are different cities in Italy that are worth the visit, and one of that is Como. I have a favorite film that was shot in Como, and Lake Como was highlighted in the story. I was instantly captivated by what I saw, so I will have this simple desire to reach the country the place one day. I feel envious towards you because you've been in Como, a favorite place that I would love to be in someday.

I am not really a sandwich guy, so I have no frame of reference to give you. No offense, but I feel like a sandwich is just too bland. If you want to ask what snack, I want, then I would suggest that you go and try grilled bacon. Not only is bacon delicious, but it is also very easy to prepare. I feel like people are underestimating it too much, and I do not want it to be like that.

This is a great way to use tofu and bumps up the protein in the pasta dish. Thanks for posting this.

Keto is a great goal, I’ve definitely thought about doing that once we get back to a new normal. outdoor kitchen greenville is going to be something that’s hard to give up though – I love my current food routine.

I can see why you would like this so much – it sounds wonderful. I would definitely add protein to this, simply because I can’t survive on high carb/low protein meals. I’m looking forward to trying it.

I'm Kathy Lloyd. I grew up on a farm near Elmore, MN and have lived in Fairmont for over 44 years. I have always loved to cook, even when I was very young. I loved to stay with my Aunt Dorothy during my childhood. She was a great cook and used to give me freedom in the kitchen, teaching me along the way. She made recipes from our Norwegian heritage, along with pies, homemade doughnuts, yeast bread and cinnamon rolls.

Marrying a husband with a hearty appetite and raising 3 sons and 1 daughter gave me plenty of hungry appetites to satisfy! I worked as a nurse for 42 years and have been retired for 11 years. Even though I loved my work, I love having time to spend with my grandchildren, to experiment with new recipes and work with my flowers in the summer. Life has been very good to me, blessing me with my loving family and great friends!

I enjoy sharing my love of cooking and recipes with the readers of the Photo Press! (I have had my share of cooking failures over the years!)
