I have a Lydia story today, I was lucky to have her with us for a day recently, she had been sitting up to the table, when she slid off the chair she slipped and bumped her head, so I was consoling her and she said” Nana a banana might make me feel better” ( she loves to eat) I am sharing a cookie recipe she helped me make, I measure and she dumps in ingredients into the bowl what she really likes to do is lick the bowl when we are done, there isn’t much left to eat but she finds what there is! I like this recipe, there aren’t many ingredients, no flour so its good for my Grand daughter who who eats a gluten free diet and it doesn’t make so many, I always let Lydia take some home with her to share!

AuthorI'm Kathy Lloyd. I grew up on a farm near Elmore, MN and have lived in Fairmont for over 44 years. I have always loved to cook, even when I was very young. I loved to stay with my Aunt Dorothy during my childhood. She was a great cook and used to give me freedom in the kitchen, teaching me along the way. She made recipes from our Norwegian heritage, along with pies, homemade doughnuts, yeast bread and cinnamon rolls. Categories
