Obituary Policy
The Photo Press reserves the right to edit (as necessary) any obituary that is submitted for placement in the Photo Press.
All obituaries must be submitted to the Photo Press by 4 p.m. on the Friday before the week that it is to be placed. Any obituaries submitted after the Friday deadline will be placed at the discretion of the editor and staff, or will be placed in the next available edition of the paper. If you are not utilizing a funeral home, please email your obituary and contact information to [email protected].
Cost for each obituary will be $250. Any photos that are submitted must be in high resolution and high quality. The Photo Press reserves the right to size and edit any submitted picture as necessary.
A funeral home that submits the obituary will be billed after the obituary appears in the newspaper An individual that submits an obituary must pay in full before the obituary appears in the newspaper whether by credit card or by check. If tear sheets are required, please notify us when the obituary is placed.
