In the February 13 Edition Al Batt asked the question in his column - "What's Smokey The Bear's middle name?" and gave the answer as "The". I'm afraid Mr. Batt stumbled over the easy assumption just as I did a number of years ago, only to be corrected by my then seven year old Grandson. Smokey's official name is Smokey Bear ... there is no THE in his name. Not ripping you for "Fake News" - Just want you to know the facts. Seriously - Keep up the good work Photo Press - always a joy to read your work when visiting Fairmont.
